Frieze Art Fair and you

This site is for you, even if you can’t make it to Frieze Art Fair. We hope it will open a window onto the fair and the art world in general, and inspire you to discover more about art.

What is an Art Fair? will tell you something about the people who visit art fairs and the special nature of these places, which are somewhat different from museums and galleries.

Under Interviews you can read interviews and watch short films made with artists and curators involved in the fair. Find out what they do, and how they got to be where they are today.

Check out Workshops for Young People and look under School Workshops to see how four groups of 16-18 year olds from London schools have been exploring the art world.

In Public Workshops you can find out about free, drop-in workshops for 5-12 year olds that run on the Saturday and Sunday during the fair. Films and photographs taken during the sessions will be uploaded here after the event.

Listen to Frieze Young Critics to hear two groups of 16-18 year olds talk about their experience at Frieze Art Fair.
